I’m interested to try this place because my friend told that their dishes are delicious. Here I am, finally came to try it. It’s dominated with Japanese wood design and dim light. Cozy and natural ambience.
For appetizer I order Miso Soup. Price 12 K. A bowl of tofu and seaweed with miso soup and sprinkle with celery. Quite nice!
First dish: Nigiri Sushi Tidako / Baby Octopus. Price 18 K. Two small baby octopuses wrap with sticky rice and seaweed. The baby octopus is tender and sweet. Not bad.
Second dish: Salmon Sashimi. Price 55 K. This is my favorite and must order dish every time I dine in Japanese restaurant. For some people, this dish is disgusting. But for me, this is the most delish Japanese dish. It’s raw but I don’t smell a fishy aroma from it. On the contrary, it’s taste so sweet and savory.
Third dish: Nigiri Sushi Salmon Avocado. Price 20 K. It’s made from chopped raw salmon sashimi, avocado, tobiko fish egg (flying fish roe) mixed with thousand island sauce and wrapped with seaweed. The avocado taste is dominated in this sushi. Quite good.
The last dish: Black Dragon Roll. Price 44 K. A huge portion of sushi topped with unagi (freshwater eel) and fried shrimp flour fill in with mayo and sweet Japanese sauce. Very scrumptious!
What I regret is that they did not provide a set of spices/sauces bottle (soy sauce, vinegar, chili sauce, chili powder, etc) on each table. So we have to ask the waitress to provide it for us. I think it’s not the efficient way to serve the customer. Over all the dishes taste is quite nice but not extraordinary.
