For now, I think this is my favorite place to have ramen. I never find ramen at another place that has a pork broth soup as scrumptious as Ikkudo’s recipe. But my friends said the other one, Ikkousha, have richer flavor than Ikkudo. Well, I will try it next time. This ramen is fit to eat in the rainy day…hmmm…so yummy.
The ambience interior is typically Japanese stall design that generally we can find in their origin country. The wood bench & table, faux trees and complete with Japanese lanterns describe it all. These are all typically secondary in the world of foodies. But we come here for the food, right? Taste is king!
Their chef recommendation is Buta Kara. Price 41,8 K. It’s a pork ramen with special red sauce, topped with boiled eggs, wakame and sesame seeds. You can personalize the broth (thick, light, normal), oil level (from light to maximum) and the noodle type (normal or curly). They also provide the chicken version.
You must order Buta Chasiu Aburi. Price 55 K. That’s thin chasiu slices and sprinkled with blackpepper and shredded scallion. So tasty & fatty at the same time! They served the beef version also.
